| This cabin was the original bunkhouse for the Anderson
Ranch which was later developed into Trout Haven Estates.
It needs a lot of work and is being sold "AS IS" but if you
are a rehabber or handy with remodeling, this could be made
into a great little hideway or vacation rental. It is
accessible year-round on a county maintained road and is
just minutes from Mueller State Park and about 1/2 hour from
Cripple Creek.
There is a well on the property that we were told taps
into an underground river and has abundant water supply.
Previous owners have also told us that there is a septic
although we can't verify the current condition of either.
They used the property several years ago for family
gatherings and at the time they said everything was working.
Electricity is supplied by IREA and natural gas by Colorado
Natural Gas. There is a natural stone fireplace in the
living room and a large pressure tank in the 3/4 bath.
On the property there is a well house (looks like a
doghouse). The shed to the side contains a cistern
which belongs to another property The water and
electric are not hooked up at this time so make plans to
visit during the day.
